Urology Clinical Mentorship Program in Transurethral Bipolar Enucleation (TUBE)

OVERVIEW

Attendees will experience a full day of live case observation and discussion about the safe and effective use of Olympus products while observing Enucleation procedures.

Objectives:

  • Participant will learn the recommended preoperative work up for transurethral bipolar enucleation (TUBE).
  • Participant will learn the safe and effective use and positioning of products used during TUBE.
  • Participant will learn the relevant anatomy while performing a TUBE.
  • Participant will learn steps for both small gland and large gland prostates.
  • Participant will learn appropriate steps to take while going through the learning curve and implementing TUBE into their own practice.
  • Participant will learn how to avoid and manage postoperative complications after TUBE.

Technologies used:

  • Olympus ESG-400 / ACMI SuperPulse Generators featuring Olympus Plasma
  • Electrodes: PlasmaBand, PlasmaLoop, and Enucleation electrodes
