Olympus University

Olympus Professional Education also offers training programs through Olympus University (OU). Geared toward nurses, reprocessing technicians and biomeds, many of the OU courses are available for nursing contact hour continuing education credit. We offer live courses across the United States, sponsored webinars, and certificate courses for reprocessing and endoscope training. OU courses cover topics such as infection control (and reducing the risk of cross contamination or other adverse events related to the reprocessing of flexible endoscopes and surgical instruments), repair reduction, and best practices in the GI lab, among others. Recognizing that both nurses and technicians have changing educational needs, Olympus University is continually updating the course materials and the curriculum for our customers.
